DigiStars will be the first independent rating system for tokenized real estate platforms — covering transparency, fees, liquidity, track record, and investor protection. No platform pays for their rating.
Right now, if you want to compare RealT vs Lofty vs DigiShares, you have to read through each platform's own marketing material. There's no independent, structured comparison — no one is rating these platforms the way Trustpilot rates businesses or Morningstar rates funds.
DigiStars changes that. We assess every platform on the same criteria, using the same methodology, with no commercial relationship influencing the result.
If a platform scores poorly, that score is published. If they improve, we update the rating. Investors deserve to know.
Are the property ownership structures, fees, and terms clearly disclosed? Can investors access audited financials?
What are the total costs to invest, hold, and exit? Are fees clearly stated upfront or buried in the small print?
How active is the secondary market? How quickly can investors realistically exit a position?
How long has the platform operated? Have they delivered on projected yields? What is the history of property performance?
What regulatory framework governs the platform? What happens to investor assets if the platform ceases to operate?
Is the platform infrastructure secure? Are smart contracts audited? What is the custody arrangement for tokens?
Ratings are currently being compiled. Here's a preview of the format — full ratings publish at launch.
We'll notify you as soon as full platform ratings are published — including the complete DigiStars methodology, all six rating dimensions, and our first round of independent assessments.
